Didn't mind some occassional rain and went to Scotland in August 2008 for a short, one week round trip. Started in Edinburgh, then headed through the Highlands to the quite remote Isle of Skye and to the even remoter (but alse even more stunningly beautiful) Outer Hebrides to finally close the circle in the Speyside region.
